The types of filler ropes include polypropylene tear film ropes, plastic strips (tubes), paper twists, asbestos ropes, etc. Its function is to fill the gaps between insulations and make the cable round and smooth. It can improve the electrical and mechanical performance of the cable, and at the same time can reduce the weight and cost of the cable.
