What Is an Extruding Machine?

An extruding machine，also known as an extruder, is a plastic processing machine . It is a device that melts and extrudes plastic raw materials into shape through heating and pressure. The extruder usually consists of a hopper, a heater, a screw, and a cross head.

Plastic raw materials enter the extruder from the hopper and become molten after being heated by a heater. Then, the screw pushes the molten plastic forward and extrudes it into shape through the die head.
